Your Mission:

    • Lead the PCS and Power Plant Controller (PPC) implementation, validation tests and troubleshooting of the battery storage system. This includes but is not limited to:\xa0
    • Work with PCS vendors and customers to determine system requirements and verify our solution will meet and exceed our customer’s expectations\xa0
    • Perform in-depth evaluation of the implemented control system as per project requirements\xa0
    • Prepare and maintain PCS solution technical documents such as all technical design philosophy, calculations, datasheets, diagrams, and layouts\xa0

Your Background:

    • Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with focus on Power systems and Power Electronics\xa0
    • Deep technical knowledge of grid-forming inverters acquired from either research or field experience\xa0
    • Knowledge of battery energy storage or utility scale solar grid integration\xa0
    • Experience working on PSCAD, PSS/E and other power system modeling software\xa0
    • Experience with IEC 61131-3 programming, preferably Simatic S7 PLC series\xa0
    • Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing\xa0
    • Familiarity with relevant industry and standards such as UL 1741 SA, IEEE 1547, IEEE 2800, and ISO requirements\xa0
    • Comfortable thriving in fast-paced, rapid growth environments.\xa0
    • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 20%
