Your Mission:
- Draft, negotiate, and analyze a broad range of commercial contracts, including EPC Agreements, LTSAs, Software Agreements, and agreements with subcontractors.
- Structure, draft, review, and negotiate a variety of other/related commercial agreements.
- Advise business teams regarding issues that arise during construction, including change orders, waivers, and force majeure notices, and after construction, including warranty claims, as necessary.
- Provide timely and efficient commercial legal guidance on a broad range of business topics, including general corporate matters, intellectual property, commercial law, UCC, dispute resolution, commercial liability, and risk assessment.
Your Background:
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Member of a state bar in good standing.
- 4+ years’ total work experience after law school.
- 3+ years\' experience with EPC contract drafting and negotiations.\xa0
- 2+ years’ experience in power generation, renewables, and/or energy storage.
- Past experiences that demonstrate the ability to handle multiple legal matters successfully and efficiently in various legal areas.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and analyze complex legal matters, to concisely summarize significant legal concerns, and to communicate those concerns effectively to businesspeople.
- Direct experience with assessing the level of legal and business risk in developing and communicating alternatives.
