12. Feedback, tickets & terms
This section covers how to tell us what you think, how to get hands-on help, and the plain-English summary of the terms you agree to when you use Ditto Up.
In this section
12.1 Send feedback
Share an idea, report a problem or request a feature at any time — you don't need to leave the page you're on.
- Click the "?" help button (the floating button in the corner of any page).
- Choose a type:
- Feedback — a suggestion, idea or feature request.
- Ticket — a bug or problem you want the team to look into.
- Describe it in a sentence or two (add a screenshot if it helps), leave your name/email if you'd like a reply, and click Send.
Your submission is routed straight to the product team along with the page you sent it from, and we use it to prioritise improvements. Feedback is one-way by default — we may follow up by email if we need more detail.
You can also open the form directly at /feedback and pick the category there.
12.2 Create a support ticket
Open a ticket when you need a direct answer or hands-on help.
- Click the "?" help button and choose Ticket (bug/problem).
- Describe the problem — include what you were doing when it happened.
- Choose how we reach you:
- Via email — we reply to the address you leave.
- Via DittoUp message (signed-in users) — we open an in-app support thread with the team so you can go back and forth in one place.
- Click Submit ticket.
Tracking replies. If you choose the in-app option, the ticket appears as a conversation in your /messages/ inbox and its status changes show up in the thread and in your /notifications/. Either way, the report goes straight to the team.
Response targets. We aim to acknowledge tickets within one business day and to resolve routine issues within about three business days. Complex issues can take longer — we'll keep you posted in the thread.
12.3 Terms & Conditions (summary)
Note: The summary below is provided for guidance only and is subject to review and approval by legal counsel before publication. The canonical, binding documents are the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy — those pages govern in the event of any conflict.
- Acceptance. By creating an account or using Ditto Up you agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
- Eligibility. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a binding agreement. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account.
- Acceptable use. Provide accurate profile and application information, respect other users, and don't post unlawful, misleading, discriminatory or abusive content. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.
- Content & ownership. You keep ownership of the documents, videos and profile data you upload. You grant Ditto Up a licence to store, display and process that content solely to operate the service — including matching, recommendations and generating your Ditto Up résumé.
- Feedback & tickets. By submitting feedback, feature requests or ticket content you grant Ditto Up the right to use it to improve the service, without obligation or compensation. Don't include confidential third-party information.
- Memberships & payments. Paid plans renew on the cycle shown at checkout until you cancel. Fees are charged through our payment processor; taxes may apply. Refunds follow the policy stated at the point of purchase.
- Notifications & communications. By verifying a phone number or email you consent to receive service messages (OTP codes, job-update alerts, download notifications). Manage optional categories in your notification settings; unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in each message.
- Privacy. We process personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. You control your profile visibility and can request access to, correction of or deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Third-party listings. Imported or external job listings come from employers' own sites. Ditto Up doesn't control their content or application processes and isn't responsible for third-party sites reached via the Original Job Posting link.
- Disclaimers & liability. The service is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, Ditto Up disclaims implied warranties and isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
- Changes. We may update these terms and will post the revised version with a new effective date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
- Contact. For questions about these terms, raise a ticket (see 12.2) or email support.
